Change this only if your computer is connected behind a Linksys router

Please note, that all router vendors(and even from model to model) have different menus and ways of changing settings. Please consult your manual.

These Instructions are based on primarily default settings, yours may be different.

1. In your web browser of choice (Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc) go to the address bar and type in the IP of your router (Linksys' default IP is 192.168.1.1)
2. This should take you to a login screen or prompt (Linksys default Username is blank "", Password="admin")
3. Go to the Setup Tab, then Basic Setup
   
4. On the previous screen Static IP must be selected if it is set to dynamic then there is something wrong. Set the Primary and Secondary DNS servers to: 64.141.120.20 and 208.70.56.55
5. That's it, you're done, you must save these settings, your router may or may not reboot.
